2013年5月に行われた、日本では16年振りの坂本龍一のフル・オーケストラとの共演となる＜Playing the Orchestra 2013＞。
2013年5月7日：フェスティバルホール、9日：サントリーホール（大ホール）、10日：東京芸術劇場 コンサートホールで行われた今回の公演からベスト・トラックをチョイス。
「戦場のメリークリスマス」「ラスト・エンペラー」「シェルタリング・スカイ」数々の映画音楽作品からYMOの楽曲まで、新たにオーケストラ用に編曲された名曲を収録。坂本龍一のピアノとフル・オーケストラで広がる多彩な音世界を満喫できるアルバムです。
